Windshields beware! Hail has come pounding down from the sky as big as one inch in diameter. This massive storm has knocked down trees and flooded streets all across the region. Lawns are littered with ice in chilling display of mother nature. There is a severe thunderstorm warning in all of St. Lawrence County so drive only if necessary. Conditions are terrible with very limited visibility. National Grid customers have reported several power outages in the region and all of western New York. When the storm began around 4 pm EST the warm temperature dropped several degrees. Hail still remains on some lawns and it almost looks like winter weather. Below are some pictures I took of the storm as it progressed.
